Description
The factory shocks on many UTVs, especially the Talon 1000x, are valved quite harshly. There’s no need to replace the shock or do crazy things with the springs; re-valving is the BEST solution.
Using an RD3 shock dyno, each shock is fully profiled and tested at various speeds and temperatures to establish a performance baseline. Then, based on the customer’s intended usage, the weight of the machine and accessories, etc, the shocks are re-valved to match that use and provide a more comfortable and versatile ride.
This is a revalve service, without springs. However, the optional spring kit is highly recommended. You will not get the full benefit without the correct spring rates for your ride and valving.

This service includes cleaning, testing and re-valving the shocks, the required shim stacks, fluids and nitrogen charge required. Replacing seals as required is included. Replacement parts needed for full rebuild extra. Some Upgrades are standard, some Upgrades are optional and some are highly recommended.
Included upgrades: PPSH or Fox Reservoir caps with Schrader valves, High Performance synthetic shock oil for more consistent damping, less stiction and less hysteresis.
Some optional upgrades: DSC Adjusters, crossover rings, custom spring rates, dual spring setups, bushing or bearing upgrades etc. on a per case basis.
*We only use springs from Eibach or HyperCo as they are the best on the market. You may receive either or a combination based on availability.
